Security is happy that our Rubrik repository is immutable. Operations is less happy because a full restore test showed we can't quickly prove whether a recovered server is clean. Do you scan during restore, restore into an isolated network, or keep a known good golden environment?

Prioritize business services, not servers. Restoring 200 VMs is useless if nobody knows which five make order processing work. Our exercise improved after the business owner had to validate the application, not just IT checking that Windows booted.
We definitely measured VM count, not business recovery. How often are you running the full exercise?
