About this training
ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation, offered by PECB, is an introductory-level training course on the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The course covers the standard's core requirements, including establishing organizational context, leadership commitment, risk assessment, performance evaluation, and continual improvement, following the 2022 revision that restructured Annex A into four control themes: Organizational, People, Physical, and Technological.
It's designed as an entry point for people new to ISO/IEC 27001, whether starting a career in information security or supporting their organization's ISMS efforts, without requiring the deeper implementation or audit expertise covered in PECB's Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor courses.
