Our team is experimenting with writing a detailed spec, acceptance cases and constraints before letting an agent touch code. Results are more consistent, but some developers say we're bringing back big design documents for small tickets. Where is the useful middle ground??

AI coding agent in a Docker dev container, how much access is too much?

We run agents inside dev containers so they cannot touch the whole laptop. They still need package downloads, test databases and sometimes cloud credentials. Once we add all that, the container feels less like a sandbox. What boundaries are people using?
