About this training
eJPT (Junior Penetration Tester), from INE Security, is an entry-level certification for people with little to no prior cybersecurity experience, built around a hands-on, scenario-based exam rather than multiple-choice questions. The exam weights host and network penetration testing most heavily (35%), followed by assessment methodologies, host and network auditing, and web application penetration testing.
The certification is valid for three years and requires an active INE subscription plus an exam voucher to sit. It's designed as a foundational milestone for people starting out in penetration testing, positioned as a stepping stone toward more advanced INE Security certifications.
